Every crew assignment follows a structured confirmation workflow. Crewing officers propose candidates, managers review and approve, and the system tracks each crew member's status from "planned" through "confirmed" to "on board." Quick crew change functionality handles urgent relief scenarios where immediate replacements are needed.

AI-Powered Candidate Scoring

The integrated AI assistant analyzes seafarer profiles, certificate validity, sea service history, evaluation scores, and vetting requirements to generate a ranked list of the best candidates for each open position. This eliminates hours of manual shortlisting and ensures compliance considerations are factored into every planning decision.

Matrix Compatibility

For tanker operators subject to oil major vetting, E-CMS automatically checks officer relief patterns against OCIMF matrix compatibility requirements. The system flags when a proposed crew change would result in a non-compliant officer matrix, preventing vetting failures before they happen.

Wage Scale Planning

Each planned position displays the applicable wage scale, giving managers immediate visibility into the cost impact of crew changes. Multi-currency wage comparisons are handled automatically based on vessel and rank configurations.
